Otaku Taku is a fictional graphic novel publishing company. The focus of this company was to reach out to artists across the US who don't have a traditional means of becoming published. The objective for Otaku Taku is to get more quality stories out into the market and help inspire more people to take the leap. Publication is an overly complex and difficult process which turns a lot of people away. I wanted Otaku Taku to function as the place you go to get your foot in the door and start publishing your work with the backing of professionals that are passionate about the industry. In entertainment sometimes you need one person to give you that break that gets you going and I believe Otaku Taku can be that for many people. The market is over saturated with copy paste stories that kind of fall flat and Otaku Taku is on a mission to change that.

I was heavily inspired by polka tattoo art when I created the logo for this company. The natural contrast of black and white are always safe but I needed something to make the logo stand out a bit more and red was a no brainer. The red is bold and grabs your attention but doesn't over power the design.
